Standing with Our Community, Every Step of the Way

At Alconero Public Adjusters, our mission goes beyond claims — it’s about empowering Florida homeowners with knowledge, protection, and resources that make a real difference. Through our Community Services Program, we bring education, support, and advocacy directly to the neighborhoods we serve.

We believe that every homeowner deserves access to trustworthy information, fair insurance practices, and expert guidance when it matters most.

Educational Programs and Workshops

Our team regularly participates in local home shows, neighborhood events, and educational seminars across Florida — including the Naples Home Show and similar community fairs.

During these sessions, our experts teach homeowners how to:

  • Identify property damage early before it becomes costly.

  • File insurance claims properly to avoid denial or underpayment.

  • Understand how reports like the CLUE Report affect their insurance premiums.

  • Protect their homes and businesses with preventive maintenance and documentation tips.

We offer these sessions free of charge as part of our commitment to homeowner education and community empowerment.

CLUE Report

The CLUE Report (Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange) is a detailed record of your personal insurance claim history, maintained by LexisNexis. It includes up to seven years of property and auto insurance claims, listing essential details such as the type of loss, date, amount paid, and the property or vehicle involved.

What Every Florida Homeowner Should Know About the CLUE Report — And Why It Matters

When it comes to protecting your home, knowledge is your best insurance. Yet, many Florida homeowners have never heard of one crucial tool that could impact how much they pay for coverage or even whether they qualify for it — the CLUE Report.

At Alconero Public Adjusters, we believe education is the foundation of empowerment. That’s why we’re breaking down what the Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange (CLUE) report is, how it affects your property insurance, and how to request your own copy for free.

🔍 What Is a CLUE Report?

The CLUE (Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange) report is a claims-history database managed by LexisNexis, a national consumer-reporting agency.
It contains up to seven years of insurance claim history related to your home or vehicle — including the dates, types of losses, claim amounts, and insurance company details.
When you file a property claim, your insurance company reports that information to LexisNexis, and it becomes part of your CLUE report.
Each entry can influence how other insurers evaluate you in the future — even if you change insurance companies.

Why the CLUE Report Matters to Homeowners

Your CLUE report is more than just a list of past claims — it’s a snapshot of your risk profile as seen by insurance companies.
Here’s why it matters:
1. Insurance Premiums:
Too many claims on your record can make you appear high-risk, resulting in higher premiums or even denied coverage.
2. Property Value:
If you’re buying or selling a home, insurers often check the property’s CLUE report. A home with a clean record may attract better rates and more buyers.
3. Claim Accuracy:
Errors happen — and if your report lists claims you didn’t make or duplicates, it could cost you thousands in unnecessary rate increases.
4. Peace of Mind:
By knowing what’s in your CLUE report, you can correct mistakes early and protect your financial reputation with insurance carriers.

What Information Does a CLUE Report Include?

Each CLUE report contains detailed claim information such as:
• Your name and date of birth
• Your policy number
• Type of loss (fire, water, storm, etc.)
• Date of loss
• Amount paid by the insurance company
• A description of the damaged property
• The property address (for home claims) or vehicle details (for auto claims)

How Insurance Companies Use the CLUE Report

When you apply for a new policy or request a quote, insurers use your CLUE report to assess:
• How many times you’ve filed claims
• The severity and frequency of your losses
• Whether your property has a history of recurring issues

In simple terms, your CLUE report helps insurers decide if they want to cover you and how much they’ll charge.

How to Get Your CLUE Report — For Free

The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) gives every consumer the right to one free CLUE report per year.
Here’s how you can request it directly from LexisNexis Consumer Center:

If you’re buying a property and want to see its claim history, remember that the current homeowner must request the report.
Once you receive it, review all details carefully. If you find errors, contact LexisNexis immediately to dispute or correct them.
They are required to investigate and respond within 30 days.
